Lauryn Bakh
Founder
Lauryn is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts, where she studies Commercial Dance. Her passion for community service grew through her involvement in National Charity League, volunteering for CHOC Hospital, the Muck, National Boys and Girls Pathways of Hope, Crittenton, and many more that have inspired her to start this organization. Her favorite part of Kits 4 Kids is watching classmates come together to assemble kits and witnessing the joy of the children who receive them. She finds it deeply fulfilling to see the direct impact her peers make on the community. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Rebeca Gomez Garza
Rebeca is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts, where she pursues Commercial Dance. Her love for serving the community began at a young age when she danced in old folks homes, since then she has passionately devoted her time to a multitude of community service initiatives. Some include serving as her schools Leadership Community Service Coordinator, and teaching weekly dance classes for youth with disabilities at Segerstrom’s Studio D. For her, the heart of Kits for Kids lies in the pure joy reflected in a child’s smile, proof that even the smallest gestures can carry immeasurable impact; therefore, creating moments of happiness that ripple far beyond the kits themselves. In her free time you can find her reading, at the beach, traveling, and making memories with friends and family.
